Buying a table shouldn't feel like signing a mortgage. Here's exactly what happens after you click buy — and what we do if something goes sideways.
Everything below is included in the price. No fuel surcharge, no "kerbside only", no plywood crate left in your hall.
Two-person white-glove delivery to any room. Packaging taken away. Mainland England, Wales and Scotland — Highlands +1 week. Northern Ireland and islands quoted at checkout.
VAT included in the price you see.
Two-person delivery from our Rotterdam hub. Weekend slots available in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Köln and Frankfurt. Packaging taken away.
German VAT (19%) included. No customs paperwork for you.
Two-person delivery, all cantons. We handle customs clearance end to end — your table arrives at your door, not a depot.
Swiss VAT and import duties fully included. No surprise fees.
Live with your table for 30 days. If it doesn't feel like yours, email us and our delivery team comes back to collect it — no return label, no reassembly, no fee. We refund in full within 5 working days of collection.
Every Bramley table is guaranteed for a decade against splitting, warping, joinery failure and finish defects — on the person who buys it, in a normal home.
Structural cracks, failed joints, delamination, finish breakdown under normal indoor use.
Repair in your home where we can. Where we can't, we collect, remake and redeliver — free.
Outdoor use, flood or fire damage, and deliberate modifications. Everyday wear is a feature, not a fault.
Every shipment is insured for its full value from the moment it leaves the workshop until it's in your dining room. You never fill in a claim form — that's our job.
Your card is authorised at checkout but only charged when your table leaves the workshop — usually 2–3 weeks before delivery. If anything changes, we email you first.
Yes. We confirm a two-hour window 48 hours before delivery, and you can reschedule free of charge up to that point.
Our tables ship fully assembled but the frame unbolts in 10 minutes if access is tight. Send us a photo of your entrance — we'll tell you honestly if it works.
Yes. Solid European oak, ash or American walnut throughout — never veneer, never MDF, never engineered core. You can plane it, sand it, and re-oil it decades from now.
Every table is fully insured in transit. If anything's wrong when the delivery team unwraps it, we take it back on the spot and remake yours — no forms, no arguments.
Wipe with a damp cloth. Re-oil once a year with the small bottle of hardwax oil we include free. Rings and marks sand out in minutes — that's the point of solid wood.
